SFC Jason P. Boyle

SFC Boyle enlisted as an Armor Crewman in 2001 and served with 1-37 Armored Regiment in Friedberg, Germany as a Crewman and later as a Gunner and deployed in both positions.

Upon leaving Germany, SFC Boyle attended Army Recruiting School and served as a Recruiter in Lynn, MA.

SFC Boyle was then assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado where he was assigned as an advisor with a Security Forces Advisory Team (SFAT). He deployed to Afghanastan with the SFAT as an Advisor, to the Afghan National Civil Order of Police (ANCOP).

Following this deployment SFC Boyle served as a M1 Abrams Tank Commander for the 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment at Fort Carson. He deployed to Kuwait with the 8th Infantry and served as a Platoon Sergeant and Company Master Gunner.

SFC Boyle’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (3), Army Achievement Medal (3), VUA, US Good Conduct Medal (4), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Iraqi Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Army Gold Recruiter Badge, Combat Action Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver-Wheeled Vehicles, and the Basic Marksmanship Qualification Badge.

SFC Boyle now serves as the MS II instructor in Norwich University’s Army ROTC department, and he is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Norwich Artillery Battery
